Overview
A 2nd-gen character is one whose parents were the first characters created and played of the lineage. When there is a difference in generation between parents, the farthest back is used.
Second-gen characters are fairly common, and generally only contain 1-3 races in their genes. On occasion, by this point, they contain a shapeshifting gene to switch between multiple separate forms.
