Overview
Helena is a first-generation character created by Joelle. Originally she only existed in a comic taking place in the distant past until being revived and becoming a current PC. Personality Helena is mellow and sweet, but intelligence. She is sensitive and often thinks the best of people first, but when betrayed she often makes rash ultimatums. Appearance Helena is a young woman with pale, freckled skin, green eyes, and light pinkish-blonde hair. She usually wears elegant pastel dresses. Powers Helena is an amateur mage but still very powerful with the few spells she knows. Her specialty is mind-alteration, usually non-damaging spells, as she prefers not to harm people if she can help it. She is capable of casting illusions, interfering with one's senses, causing confusion and dizziness, and erasing memories. She also minors in some transmutation. Pre-role-play history Helena was born in the country Amaali on the continent Peaulana. At about 10-12 years old, she was sent by her father to study magic in Wherrem. There she met Tivik, as servant at the manor she was staying at, and they formed a romance as they got older. During this time, one of the elders pressured her to learn a de-aging amnesia spell for reasons she would not say. Helena never knew Tivik was possessed and corrupted, and they were both killed by a plague he had created. She remained dead for thousands of years, but the soul usher transporting her to the afterlife was killed en route by evil forces, and she remained trapped in a soul jar in oblivion. Role-play history The soul jar was found and the spirit inside resurrected by Stardust, who took the confused revived Helena into her home, where she met Angela. Shortly thereafter, she was introduced to Tivik, who by then was an evil god. She recalled the spell the elder taught her, and she cast it on Tivik, who lost all of his powers, the shadow corruption, and was transformed back into his ten-year-old self, also losing all of his memories following that time of his life. Without ever telling him he'd turned evil, Helena took him in to raise him, feeling responsible for him now. During this time and before setting off a ship with Tivik back to Wherrem, Helena briefly became lovers with Angela. Their now platonic relationship broke however when they revisited their hometown of Lazosham and one of the elder's ghosts informed them that Tivik had caused the town's destruction. Helena became outraged and left him in the jungle. Current Status Helena is presumably still in Wherrem, having not been seen since the day she rode off into the jungle just outside Lazosham. Family Helena's parents, now long dead, were wealthy nobles of Amaali. She had no other family. |
