Personality Jirair is extremely naive about human society and conversation, basing his knowledge of how to act purely on bestial traits and how things work in the animal kingdom. He is eager to learn about humans to be more like them, but at the same time tries to cling to his original values, finding that they make him a stronger person and more able survivor. As far as those values go, he believes strongly in monogamy, and desires for almost nothing else but to have a good mate/wife and have lots of children with her and raise a family so that he can protect them and hunt for them. Appearance As an adult, Jirair is a well-muscled, scruffy man with kinked brown hair, and dark gray-blue eyes. As a child, his hair is blond. Powers Jirair has no magical powers whatsoever. He vaguely knows how to play the panpipes. Pre-role-play history Jirair was born to Eleena as the result of her extra-marital affair with an NPC man. He was originally named David. He became lost as a child, and was raised by bears until becoming separated from them as well ans continuing to raise himself in the wilderness. His contact with humans has been nearly nil, only just enough to learn a little bit of English. Role-play history Jirair appeared at the anthro-tiger castle and soon befriended Kalil, who was at the time female and in heat. Jirair became quickly enamored with her, and when she left her then-girlfriend Mai and ran away, he followed her and led her and her son Tamary to his own cave in the woods. Eventually he convinced her to become his "mate", and the three of them lived alone in the wilderness for months. Their only contact with the outside world was a brief battle with a faerie named Sprite, who poisoned Tamary, and then a short trip to Maybud with Gloria and Adam. Then they returned to solitude. When winter set in, Jirair and his new family made their way to the mansion for better shelter, where Kalil's daughter Kiba met him with enmity, fought with Kalil, and ran off. It was soon discovered that she had fallen into a portal to Kalil's homeworld Metalibethita, and Kalil and Mai teamed up one last time to rescue her. Jirair futilely followed, wanting to rescue his wife when it was learned she would be executed promptly for a decade-old murder charge. He did not save her, and she suffered Permadeath, and he died shortly after of Co2 poisoning when Gim damaged the local airlocks and set fire to the city. Although Jirair had a conversation with Kalil's 'gods' of sorts and learned that she was at peace in the afterlife, but sent her love, he became wildly depressed for failing to be a good husband. When Mai reclaimed custody of Tamary, Jirair became even sadder, wishing to not even remember them at all. Dechaerrim reverted Jirair's age to ten years old, and Malystrics wiped his memories back to that age. Jirair was also one of the original 25 people kidnapped by Gim and trapped on a tropical island in a pocket universe. When Kalil returned (having actually been astrally trapped between realms, and her gods lying to Jirair about her 'dead' status), Jirair was restored to his true age. He and Kalil married and moved in together, and shortly after Kalil became pregnant, and bore triplets. Current Status Jirair is alive and lives with his wife and children. Family Jirair's wife is Kalil, his daughters are Flora, Honey, and Kuma, his mother is Eleena Ladron, his father is an unknown man, his half-siblings are Derrin and Danielle, and his adoptive bear-sister is/was Katsu. |
