Overview
Lakeside Town is, aptly-named, a town by a large lake. Leylines run through the entire area, but mostly on the north side of the lake. The stream feeds into it from the north-east, as well as a small duck-pond surrounded by cherry and apple trees. Another river goes into the lake from the south-west. Most of the area is surrounded by pine forests, but is more plainsy on the south. The town itself is on the south side of the lake, and the road goes west from it towards "Milkshake Town", and north-east towards the mansion, and splits to continue on towards The Abnoc.
The mansion
The mansion is on the north side of the lake. It is three stories tall with fully functional indoor plumbing, but the lighting is still by candles, lamps, and fireplaces. On the first floor is the large living room with a water fountain against the wall. There is a kitchen with a refrigerator (powered by magic, as is the water), and a dining room with a table that seats 12. On the second floor are most of the bedrooms, and on the third floor is a steam room, shower stalls, and a huge indoor swimming pool/bathtub, and more bedrooms. There is also access to the roof patio from here. In the back of the building is a garden and a playhouse. The entire complex was built by Jayden.
The grotto
Somewhere in the area, presumably to the far west-south-west of the mansion, is an underground grotto that an incubus once lived in. It contains at least a bedroom, bathing room, and pantry. The only living being to know its location is Kalil.
History
Originally conceived as a rough generic area by Heather and Devin, it expanded when Kalil was passing through with his two daughters, and Jayden built him a home. The home expanded constantly as more and more people dropped by to stay with him, eventually evolving into the luxurious mansion it is today.
Kii's archdemon father eventually destroyed the land into near total oblivion. Necrotic blood rained from the sky, the lake boiled, the trees and buildings were burned to ash, and all the creatures and plants died and were soon replaced by abyssal flora and fauna instead.
Lately, however, the bloodrain has been cleared, and the forest has begun to regrow. The mansion also was never damaged, as Jayden built a dome of thick diamond over it for protection.
