Overview
Leyla is a third-generation character created by Curt. Personality Leyla is sweet and always willing to help others. In fact, she prefers to offer aide to someone, rather than ever ask for help for herself. She is shy and tries to unobtrusive as possible, always making sure that what she does isn't bothering anyone, or intruding on anyone else's plans. She is social and likes to talk and laugh, but generally only becomes conversational if someone else starts it fist. She's best in one-on-one engagements and becomes introverted in a crowd. She has a sense of right vs. wrong but not necessarily of tradition or authority, disregarding her own royal status and not adhering strictly to etiquette or social rules. She does have a mischievous streak, using magic to play harmless pranks on others. Appearance Leyla looks almost exactly like her mother, with pink-streaked white hair, and pink eyes. She is short, but isn't quite an adult yet, so will likely get taller in the future. Powers As an all elemental, she can control all of the classical elements, with resistances to any of their damages, but an extreme and deathly allergy to blood not her own. She can shapeshift between tiger, human, and anthro-tiger forms. Pre-role-play history Leyla was the last-conceived child of Ablica and Haven. Role-play history Leyla started out hating her parents for their irresponsibility and mistreatment of their other children. First they locked their first-born daughter in a box and forced her to conceive a child with a boy, and then they misplaced their two middle children in another universe. Leyla always took her older sister's side in things, but eventually had enough of the family, and ran away, vanishing for years. Leyla eventually reappeared, coming in as the sole heir to the throne of the Thivaldi kingdom, due to her sister being de-heired, her brother dying, and the other two siblings still being gone. When she learned of being the heir, she complained, not wanting to be Queen at any time in the future. Eventually her brother recovered, but it was her sister that became the heir instead. Leyla almost began a romantic relationship with Dmitri, but he felt scorned when she also flirted with a handsome man who turned out to be the demon Harziyax in disguise. Leyla became the target of the evil god Kelius, the one who had nearly killed her brother with sickness, and also constantly kidnapped various members of her family. He put an obedience curse on her while disguised as a friendly nobleman, tricking her by offering her a cursed necklace, which bonded to her flesh (and soul). He then ordered her to attempt to kill her own mother, but the attempt was foiled. Her family discovered the curse and are careful of it. Leyla is occasionally pursued by mysterious shadowy figures with gemstones for eyes. Leyla's family is protective of her, trying to keep her away from any battles or adventures whatsoever. She usually goes against their wishes if she is able. She began learning magic under Dechaerrim's tutelage, and has become skilled with enchantments and transformations. Current Status Leyla is alive and tends to live wherever most of her family is. Family Leyla's parents are Queen Ablica and King Haven, and her grandparents are Spiral, and Lisa & Genki. Her aunts are Alistica, Kippy, Sabrina, and Valerie-Jade, and her uncles are Dalion, Ethan, and Lucas. Her sisters are Jayden, Nikki, and Rei, and her brothers are Jacen, Aiden, New York, and Ben. Her nieces are Vita and Sokoya, and her nephew is Nimiszu. |
