Name Sense
Overview

Name sense is when a character has the ability to sense when their name is spoken.

Deities

Most gods possess this, presumably so they can hear their worshippers' prayers. It is similar to the domain sense from D&D, that states that a deity not only psychicly hears their own name, but also senses when something happens related to their domain of control (for example, Thor and Zeus sensing lightning strikes).

Demons

Whether or not an individual generic 'demon' character has name-sense varies depending on the player's personal choice. Theksarsi demons in specific all possess name-sense.

Others

The maids and royal family of the anthro-tiger kingdom have all shown to have name-sense, appearing next to a person who calls out their name with the intent of summoning them. The maids, instead of teleporting, simply walk quickly into a room. Juniper, a magical creation of Queen Ablica, had remarkable name-sense and appears even when the speaker's intent wasn't to get her attention.

Other characters have been known to get vague 'feelings' or exhibit sneezing, ear-itching, etc. as in folk tales when spoken about, but this isn't necessarily canon. Some characters conveniently always appear when talked about, whether they knew it or not; this is often played for comic effect.
