Overview
Magical pregnancy is a phenomenon wherein a character, female or male, becomes pregnant by magic and NOT sex, in vitro, implantation, etc. The offspring may contain the DNA of the host alone (being a clone), the host and extra material (not a clone, but still only having one actual parent), the host and another person (whether or not they've met), someone(s) else entirely (whether or not ANY of them have met), or simply be something entirely new, with a brand-new strand of DNA not inherited from anyone at all.
Magical pregnancies differ from those caused by Xenomorph-like creatures such as "It", because those are not magical at all, although they are strange. They do, however, count surrogate pregnancies that did not involve surgery or other normal means to replant the offspring.
Genies
Years ago, three immortal omnipotent beings of questionable ethics descended upon the world: the muffin-genie-doppelganger, The Muffin Man (aka MM), the genie Foo Foo (aka FF), and the insane angel posing as a genie, Aoi.
It began when Aoi granted a wish to Doug, who said jokingly that Kitto and James, who had never had sex before, should have a child. Before Doug took it back, Aoi had made it true, and Kitto became magically pregnant with James' child.
From then on, it became a wildfire fad that ALL genies should create magical pregnancies, even in each other. Fortunately, both MM and FF faded from the scene, and Aoi regained his senses.
Surrogate
This has happened far less often, usually because any unwilling parent won't be able to find anyone else who would be a willing one. In one of the cases of an Aoi-magic-induced pregnancy, in Ariruwa, she attempted to abort the twins in her; he teleported them into the womb of an NPC instead. When one of James' sons died, it was reincarnated in a fresh body brought to term by Stardust. Once when James raped a female Ronan in a werewolf rage, Ronan refused to carry the litter and had them magically transferred to James instead.
Other
Shaelz was the result of a magic dandelion seed landing on James and impregnating him with a kitten.
