Overview
Tannen is a second-generation character created by Joelle. His name is German for 'fir trees'. Personality Tannen is independent and willful, but no overbearing or rude. He has a very easygoing nature about life. He isn't atheist, but merely apathetic about the divine. He doesn't carry grudges. He follows the law, but is neither good nor evil. Appearance Tannen is a young man with fair, slightly grayish skin. His lower arms and 'tearstreak' markings on his face, as well as other places on his body, are darker gray-blue. His hair is actually made of white down feathers. His eyes are green, and his ears are slightly pointed. He has the symbol of Szork on his arm. In animal form, he is an American Kestrel (external link) three and a half feet tall. Powers Tannen has the native Szorkian abilities to transform into an animal, and to control the element of fire. His hearing is also better thanks to his Drow half, and he has darkvision. Pre-role-play history Tannen, though a second-gen character, was not introduced into role-play until long after his creation. In-character, he was the result of Aoi's temporary baby-making insanity, and was magically induced as the child of Traica in Ariruwa's womb, with a twin father/mothered by Serenity. Ariruwa attempted to destroy them both, but Aoi transplanted them into an NPC far away, and they were both put into separate orphanages after birth. Upon reaching adulthood, Tannen struck out with his life-goal to find his parents. Role-play history Tannen eventually came to Lakeside Town and with the help of Nathan, it was magically deduced who his parents were, and his species. He almost began a relationship with Princess Michelle, but she instead became enamored with Dechaerrim, so Tannen left for Neriak with Traica to be trained in the ways of magic, combat, and aristocracy. Current Status Tannen is presumably still in Neriak but may resurface in the near future. Family Tannen's mothers are Ariruwa and Traica, his uncle is Del'narreth, his aunt is Mare, and his half-siblings are Leylia, Kitto, Micousion, Mimmette, Damien, and the mystery twin. |
