Overview
Traica is based on the Drow from the video game Everquest, as is her home city Neriak. Appearance Traica has dark blue skin, green eyes, and long, straight white hair. She either wears black velvet ornamental robes or her Hell Lord armor. Powers Traica is extremely capable in sword combat, dual-wielding two unholy magic swords. She can cast an assortment of minor divinely-granted spells, and has an undead steed to ride. Pre-role-play history Traica was born and raised in the underground Drow city of Neriak to a noble family. Her sister Mare became a priestess and her brother Del'narreth became a necromancer, but Traica ascended to the esteemed title of Hell Lord, mainly being an exceedingly powerful cleric or anti-paladin of Innoruuk. She had a familiar at one point, an elf/dragon named Reyas, whom she fell in love with and married, having a daughter together. He eventually died, however, and Leylia went on to have her own daughter, Vindae. At one point, when she was more evil, Traica unleashed a plague upon a town on the surface, which cursed the unhallowed land and caused the townsfolk to rise again as zombies due to the influence of an artifact called The Orb. Role-play history Traica became very good friends with the sorceress Serenity while visiting the surface, and was killed for a very long time when avenging Sere's death at the hands of her vampire/sorcerer son. Traica has died two other times. In one of her lives, she was a lover to Necro, but lost her emotions for him in her most recent revival. Traica became good friends also with James, being one of the only mother figures who never killed him. She was stranded in the antarctic with Gloria, Akumei, and Jayden before finally making it back to the mainland. Eventually, the matter of The Orb needed resolving, and so Traica knew she had to capture it for Innoruuk before Del'narreth could use it for his own purposes. Del'narreth sent a human assassin named Kane after her, but she traded her body for her life, and after one night of sex with him, became pregnant with his son, not knowing it. Del'narreth then sent another assassin, a psychotic sadistic telepath named Beiel, who enjoyed haunting Traica with horrible illusions. Their battles came to involve others, including Akumei, Gloria, Necro, and Motoko, a drunken fighter. After discovering that Kii was a demon, she pressured Kii's girlfriend Mai to leave her, and failed. Not long after, in the same building, Beiel entered and a large battle involving everyone in the building (Mai and Kii had already left by then) took place. Gloria was killed by Beiel and reincarnated as a phoenix chick, and Akumei was stricken mad with rage and fell through a magical portal to someplace else. Beiel finally retreated after heavy injuries. By then it was learned, through Gloria's life-sensing abilities, that Traica was pregnant. She lived on the surface with Kalil at Lakeside for a while, being attacked by his evil father and nearly losing the child while there. Another battle took place as Kii's clone was executed in front of the house, again involving everyone in the building, Gloria, Akumei, Jayden, Kalil, and Mai included. Beiel made an appearance, as did two evil Drow from a different Drow city. Kii's duplicate was killed and there were no other casualties save for a horde of demons. Eventually it was time for Traica to go off and get The Orb. Gloria was also sent, by her own god. As they met in battle over it, Del'narreth's minions incapacitated them both and captured Traica (with the intent to sacrifice her and her child to Innoruuk) just as she went into labor. He also got The Orb. Gloria flew back to the mansion to gather the others for a rescue mission, with the help of Traica's granddaughter. Shortly thereafter, Traica was tortured and raped by Dechaerrim in the mansion's kitchen in full view of the others. It turns out that Akumei, trying to bluff, had given direct permission for Dech to do that. Traica was enraged and banished Akumei from the house, then attempted to leave for home until talked out of it by Kalil. Finally Akumei returned and attempted to kill everyone, battling mostly with Traica while he rendered the others helpless with telepathic illusions similar to Beiel's. Gloria was killed and recreated by her god without any remaining knowledge of Akumei, and she killed him. Traica later learned of a magically-conceived long-lost son of hers named Tannen. After Lakeside Town was razed by Kii's archdemon father, Traica took Tannen with her to Neriak, along with the captured Mela, to reform her. Soon, however, Beiel came to take Mela as a captive. Traica agreed to go in her stead, and was kept prisoner under his psionic binds for many months until the Goddess Binkasu freed her. Traica was kept safe on Binkasu's own plane for a week, then deposited on a pocket universe of Gim's where 25 of the other characters were trapped on a tropical island. Current Status Traica is alive and slowly regaining her strength after going without exercise or food for so long. Family Traica's brother is Del'narreth, her sister is Mare, her daughter is Leylia (whose daughter is Vindae), and her sons are Israel and Tannen. |
